I know Jenna Lyons' old Brooklyn Brownstone has been overplayed in the blogs, but it's been awhile. This is Glamorous brought it back with a before and after - after Jenna moved out. I much prefer the before's clean, modern, fun, and clever space to the older, ornate after.

White vs. Black

I have finally convince E to paint our living room/hall/entry area; rather, he came to the conclusion himself (the best way). It's currently a yellow/gold/arizona (and not the good kind). Part of me really wants to paint it a soft white and be able to use bright colors - crazy side tables, etc. We have a bunch of gold accents and neutrals in there now. 

I love the black accents with the white walls here.

And the white walls with wood and color accents here. I also would LOVE to get into wallpapering a wall. That's the next thing E needs to come to conclusion himself.
