WWW Boots Boots Boots

A day ago I sent E some thigh highs that I wanted - he said, "do you really need them?" Does anyone really need anything like this? Who What Wear did an amazing high boot montage: Enjoy.

Those Boots!

I love her British-self. She always dominates prints, vintage and hats. These boots are sending me over.

Mrs. P. Hicks

Do you know Mrs. P. Hicks yet? If not, get to know her!
My mother emailed me the following teaser pic, knowing I would love everything about it from the aztec trunk to the brilliant shoes. They are a heavenly combination of Minnetonka Mocs, Sperry's and Clark's.

...and my personal favorites...

Chloe - Coveteur

OH WHAAAAAAT!
These shoes are sooo classically stunning. They were found when The Coveteur crashed Chloe's creative director, Clare Waight Keller home at the time of her Met Ball preparation.

Peach Velvet

These shoes rocked my face off, and not in the they're-art-someone-brilliant-made-these, but in the these-are-the-most-perfect-heel-EVER! I can't imagine a more sleek, neutral, but warm shoe. It lengthens but still has so much character, like a beautiful, surprisingly mysterious woman, or man. You get the point. The lovely wearer of the shoe is Ulyana Sergeenko, the Russian fashion designer and photographer.

Shoemint - JOLLY

How did I not know about this perfect shoe when I began my leopard heel.bootie collection. I would have collected all three had I known (black pair not pictured)!

Accessorize in Leopard

I fully recognized that I, along with every other blogger, has posted pictures of leopard everything. Prêt-à-Portea did a feature on the print. I absolutely love the brilliant pictures she found.

Coolest Shades EVER!!!

Like almost everything I buy, there is a story. This one did begin at San Marcos (I swear this will be my last post about that wonderful shopping haven/heaven). My mom and I went bag in the spring when they came to visit from Minnesota. On our way to the check out line I saw these most divine and perfect in every way glasses. Naturally I put them on and couldn't take them off... until my mom decided to steal them from me. She bribed me (continued to) and we bickered back and forth. This hilarity went on for what felt like an hour for the clerks witnessing, but in all reality was probably only ten minutes. It ended in my mother saying, "You have great taste, but I am old and can afford nice things." She had a point. I have been dreaming of those sweet shades ever since.

Just my brilliant luck, they were there when I went back with Katy. I couldn't let these slip out of my poor hands again/allow my mom to hold them over my head for the rest of my life. I put them on the credit card and will never look back, unless it's through my super cool shades that can't be duplicated... besides by mother. This is now the second pair of sunnies she and I have both owned. Interesting.

San Marcos

I mentioned in an earlier post that my friend Katy and I spent a healthy amount of time at the San Marcos Outlet Mall. I thought I should share some of my treasures.

I have been eyeing this Pendleton clutch and every other bag of theirs for a long time. Thank you outlet malls for rationalizing all my purchases!

Winter Want

While perusing Refinery29 this morning I came across this awesome and affordable Darcy Drape Jacket. Clearly I wasn't the only one who fell in love with this cozy, easy style... it's already sold out. Perhaps by posting this on my blog, someone will seek pity on me and find this Need of mine.

Speaking of winter wonders, I am all about Ear Warmer/Headbands for winter. I may have bought a Frog headband which I can't seem to find online to show you right now (looks like you'll be getting a picture of it as soon as it gets cold enough in Dallas to wear it). I would like to add this, more classic piece to my new collection.

GAP Sale

My boss threatened last week, if you don't dress seriously, no one will take you seriously. I don't like that statement, but I suppose the uptight business world isn't a place for an eager, fashionista wannabe. It is for uptight suits and uptight people.

In order to feed my passion/obsession I have to walk the walk... or skip the walk. One can only bend so much. To do so, my wardrobe needed (I use this word knowingly loosely) flowy tops and giant flair work pants. GAP must have heard my cry. They had a wild sale on several neutral silk tops.

This not only fulfills a goal, but feeds my love for neutral tops with colorful bottoms! TWOFER!
